Course Goal
This a combined program offering to assist responders in meeting the first aid and CPR requirements related to professional certification (FF1).
Course Description
The Heartsaver First Aid course provides first responders with training in basic first aid procedures including the first aid skills recommended by OSHA. Upon successful completion of the courses, the student will receive cards for both First Aid and CPR with 2 year expirations dates.
Prerequisites
- Introduction to the Fire Service (ELIS)
Maximum enrollment allowed in this class is 18 students.
Minimum Age Requirement
16 years as of first day of class.
